NEW POSITION?

When you look at scheduling it shows
Member fulfillment associate? Is this new? Is anyone in this position?
Its not the member fulfillment lead that is separate

Correct, not every club will get this position as your Club has to have the numbers to warrant such. With that being said are you making all of these other Merchandising teams do the same job for $11? Sounds like a very slippery slope as I can see clubs not implementing said team to avoid paying the $15 until everything changes by 2025.

As a matter of fact if the current situation with Merchandising/Club Pick Up does not get changed drastically I see just this happening and have no faith in Sam’s to step in and change it themselves. The current set up is failing and clubs are OK with it. Not all clubs, I understand, but how many out there do you think are just throwing people into said job just to be able to say they have someone in that department?

If your club is not growing by way of Club Pick Up there is something seriously wrong (I understand there a few that see very slow growth but should be growing nonetheless.). I am sad to say but we know there are clubs out there that have very little support from the leadership teams and may never see this team in their club (which if your manager nor GM is pushing for it, you are fighting a huge uphill battle) nor the pay raise that should have been implemented into Club Pick Up from the start.

Just real quick, if I may, I know from our club the Club Pick Up could be doing so much more if a team was implemented. Does it mean they will reach the numbers to get said team with said pay raise? Who knows, however without said team in place they have no chance as they have very few people helping out. Sad, on one end they are told they work hard yet on the other end not hard enough to warrant this new team YET they have filled the Team Lead spot. Just sad to see...

They should never have eliminated club pickup as a separate job code. Starting at the end of June it will be curbside only. All orders will be prepay.

Our club pick up people work their butts off!!! They definitely need to be making 15.00 an hour!!!! They RARELY get out on time because of all the orders! I for one think that after all we have been through during this time that EVERYONE in the clubs should be making at least 15.00! We are the front line workers no one appreciates!

Wait, no more help from...what do you mean no more help from? Sorry but at our Club we have one maybe two people doing ‘Merchandising “ on both ends (pulling and dispensing of orders). The only thing that has saved them so far is that the virus has slowed down orders as they can no longer add same day orders, which will change very soon.

Do not think these merchandisers deserve a better pay than that of $11? You are off your rocker. You run around the Club and collect all of these items, dispense orders, load orders all in the time you are given with very little staff.

The problem here is that there should have been Club Pick Up teams in place already but Clubs some Clubs (such as ours) do not have such a team and has not had such a team for a while now. Someone tell me how you expect one or two people to run Club Pick Up on that? Right, you can not and it is sad on these Clubs that has done that yet who do you think is help responsible? Not management otherwise they would have done something about it. Your Clubs’ GM perhaps? Likewise if the was the case they would have stepped in and addressed the issue.

Sorry, but if you do not think that Club Pick Up (or more so those who do Club Pick Up) do not deserve the $15 a hour pay, I say you go work it for a few months and I bet you will have a very different opinion...at least on the teams that have yet to have a team and are working on such short staff in that department.

Not everyone gets this position. You have to do enough business in club pickup to qualify

  1. Why would this position pay $15 an hour? Seems very unfair to me. If they are going to pay this position that much, then they need to raise everyone else up to that rate.
  1. In our club we didn't even know that there was a Fulfillment TL spot available. They snuck the person into the position under the radar. So unfair. Does regional even care about all the b.s. going on? Wake up people.

Its brand new. Hasnt even been hired for. Its a team thats over club pickup, curb side pick up and .com ( club to home). The team does it all no more help from merchadisers, front end or cart runners. If a order needs to be put i. A members car an associate from the team does it you dont call cart runners. Hope this helps...starts @ $15.00 hours its 2 shifts 5- 1:30 or 1:30 -9:30 i believe.
