We have 2 full time employees in my department alone (meat) that call in at least twice a week for the last 3 months. Yet they are getting the same $300 bonus this week as the rest of us that show up every day....Total b—s—

When you have call offs, that's where priorities from management needs to come in. Don't take from Peter to pay Paul and spread your workers thin. They aren't just calling off because they are lazy and don't want to work. They are calling off because you genuinely don't give a c-ap as long as you can tell your regional you had every area covered in every way. Stop blaming this generation, stop blaming the boomers when half of you are them. Your life may be all about Sam's Club but you have to understand some of us just want to put in a good days work and go home to our families and put food on the table. I apologise to the few good managers that this may have offended.

Actually, it's not that hard to run a good worker. The creativity used to make $hit up in order to run someone out the door knows no bounds. Please don't think anyone is immune to it. Just keep doing the best job you can, and hope for the best. It doesn't mean be the best a$$ kisser, just keep doing the next right thing, and watch what you say.

Agreed, but you can't call off and post pics of you at the local protest, you at several parties, or pics of yourself and friends on road trips and then cry covid.

if a person is a good worker other than call offs it would be real hard to prove poor job performance. I never stand around and talk. I never say no. I answer member service calls quickly . etc etc I do have flaws but very few. Until covid i had very few call offs. And when covid is gone I will be back to few call offs. But until then I am taking extra days,

Do they even know we’re working Essential workers. It’s a lot of Stress working with members that we have no idea who has the COV19. You must be care with the write ups. Look for lawsuit with emotional distress with all that’s going on. Just a thought be careful.

Yeah, well out club found a way around the call offs. They're writing us up for job performance, I think they're calling it something else, but I can't remember what it's called.

Now since we had all the riots and the infection rate is rising, I'm sure everything will be extended indefinitely.

Listen to me very carefully. They extended the attendance policy till the End of July. We have call out everyday at least 10 per day. Now go figure, we’re working extra hard for the same pay. Good luck looks like you will need it.
