DOW dropped 1600+, layoffs eminent

SCHW is in a free fall. TDA buyout in doubt. They will probably need to cut at least 15% in order to sustain. 50 year olds and above, with 20+ years of experience will go first. Good luck.

But TDA did a Schwab stock cash deal. When this deal was initially announced, Schwab stock was around $52 and change. It's around $36 and change today.

i doubt if either company will back out , there is about one billion dollar back out fee for either company if they back out of the deel .

Tiger Woods basically gave Schwab one of attachments on his hand. The middle one. By not participating in the Schwab Challenge. It is a statement against this company.

Interesting that this weekend is the Schwab Challenge in golf. Obviously, SCHW wouldn’t want the media talking about recent layoffs when mentioning the return of pro golf.

There’s no way this merger doesn’t go through. They need the net interest revenue from the new assets to offset the loss in revenue from existing Schwab assets.
