Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Expats @ FGP

Interesting to learn that we keep a significant amount of expats in FGP even after they failed to place the project back on track. Let’s put a metric in place: Expat cost vs. Cost baseline improvement or Schedule improvement.

AIR, Supply Chain and even HES keep talking, and talking and talking while milking and milking and milking CVX that we do not see a clear impact in the project. Experts at running their mouth, but clear turnaround expertise? Their moto “don’t rock the boat”

Bring them back please? Give your bench a chance!

TCO/FGP is nationalising 95% of all positions............think the ride is coming to an end for the scammers.

Heard that if you have been an expat for more then one round then you will have to return to your home country.

Gorgon was run by old TCO and PRC flunkies. They kept coming. They milked it for its worth. We were amazed how many went back to TCO. That was a sure bet that FGP would go the same path ....they had zero technicall competency ...the ten F@#ing tenents and people are our best asset....blah blah blah...another blow out in cost...... FGP you can have them

There is a lot of deadwood at TCO when it comes to CVX expats – some have been there for 20+ years, collecting the uplift!
