What is the point? Even when times are "good", HPD has little to no value. Cryptic goals that are flowed down, managers can't explain them or how to meet them. Results have no bearing on raises or promotions. It is another time wasting activity, much like many of the bogus metrics we collect and the reports that are generated from these metrics, just so we can present a slide to management. 🙄

HPD Updates as follow: I work a sh$T ton of hours . I am threatened at least once a month. I smile and acknowledge how wonderful the VPs in Aero are doing great. Oh..... and I was essential during the covid freakout working Onsite while all the Executive numbnut$ are hiding at home.

It is standard timing. Everyone has to update goal results so that the managers can write mid-years and deliver them by mid-late July.

Everyone is understandably freaking out about every email notice they receive, but this one is unrelated to the upcoming cost actions.

@brk+15sUltYb somehow the week after a RIF announcement it is hard to believe anything a manager might say. If i dont believe them then why should i talk to them.

Our early HPD review will be used against us, to put us on PIP, then used to justify our being chosen for upcoming RIF waves between now and years end.

HPD? Who cares about HPD now since there is going to be slash anyway. In the end, none of it matters.

I got the email also... seems really early since mid-year is END OF JUNE... However, there wasn't a required due date... just not filling it out! Ha

Looks like they're doing them earlier this year.. previous years the mid years happened later in August. Guessing this may be tied. to IRIFs based on performance etc

This is standard mid-year updates. Gives you a chance to talk to your manager about what you’ve accomplished compared to the goals set in HPD back in December and if needed update the goals.

Happens every year about this time.
