I too would consider a severance offer. Not likely with EM.. They would rather leave you in ruin.
I’d seriously consider a good voluntary severance offer, but I really doubt they’d do it across the board like the other majors have.
I would love to work for a small oil and gas company. I would like to see what quick decisions are and how they are implemented in weeks and days not months and years. I would like to get out of oil and gas but it’s all I know and with my experience I would be hard pressed to pivot to other industries.
Love to negotiate my salary down, temporarily, to stay on. But once those decisions are made they’re made. I’m fortunate to like everyone in my group, so if I get the axe I won’t be screaming “FU, FU, FU .... you’re cool man”
