Did they say when your last day will be? Seems to indicate when non voluntary will be too. If it’s this friday for you then I expect non voluntary to be tomorrow or Thursday.

It'll be before the 28th, end of fiscal Q2.

My guess would be 6/29 and 6/30. This allows employees to be present through the fiscal cutoff but saves Honeywell from a month of extra RIF healthcare if they wait until July 1st. I just wish they would let the volunteers know soon and not make them wait until then to find out.

Probably before 03-JUL so that they don't need to pay the laid-off employees a holiday on 04-JUL. The last cleaning was finished before Memorial Day. which I thought was convenient timing.

Next week before the end of the quarter. Target Wednesday or Thursday so they can get the work out of you before quarter end.

If I don’t get chosen by the EOW, I will be leaving anyway. Since I am old and ready to retire.

If I don’t get chosen by the EOW, I will be leaving anyway. Already have a job offer else where. I believe hanging on with this company after RIF will be worst because of the demands that will be placed on the remaining individuals.

I hope tomorrow! Look forward to taking a severance and leaving the stressful workload and demands.

Culling season will not start till after the quarter end so that they can milk the last drop to focus on pushing out as much parts as possible. If you want to prolong this ordeal, start a strike and not ship anything out this last week for the quarter. This will put everything on uncommitted deliveries which RIF plans will have to be shelved to ensure that there is enough people to meet deliveries.
This, though, will be wishful thinking. In the end, this company will be filled with talkers rather than doers. Most engineering jobs will be moving to India while parts will be made by suppliers. Honeyhell will be nothing but just a brand name.
