Today, a Phx ISC grunt was heard to say they were told another furlough coming up. Fact,,,fiction,,,I don't know.

First, we were told no merit raises to avoid furlogh's and RIF's. Then we're told we'd have furloughs to avoid RIF's. Then we had two RIF's. If there are more furloughs, there will be RIF's that follow. CEO already told the world that we would have continuous RIF's.
I’d rather have furloughs than RIF’s.
I lined up some side work outside H during furlough. Made more $ that week than at H. Best part? We worked at H on cost-plus programs, where every hour spent is paid by the customer. After being reminded how their business actually makes money, H basically furloughed us to fill an internal quota and in spite of its own cashflow... Brilliant
ISC Furlough is fact! Appears to be site focused based on workload. I'm on furlough the week of 7/20. Second group starts 7/27.
I'm not in ISC but I better get my furloughs too. I dream of having another 3-4 weeks off this year to relax and look for other employment.
Actually out on furlough right now. Got the 15 minute heads up Thursday, mandatory meeting, official notice to not come in at about 4Pm. 2 teams, split over next 2 weeks. ISC at Phoenix engines. Rumors are 1 each month or 1more in Q4. Heard some folks at Tempe ISC same. That is all I heard, no other groups.
Would this be SPS ?
likely in 3Q as airline passenger loads still at only 20%
Furloughs that have been announced:
American Airlines - 25K
British Airways - 30K
United - 36K
Delta - 13K
Southwest asking for volunteers
If nobody is buying or flying, expect cuts.
