It seems that Chevron is taking months and months to put together a layoff plan and then months and months more to follow through. At least everyone is getting a few extra pay checks.

Not sure about your math - I calc 8.1Mil - 4.97 mil => 3.21million gain

@1law More like $9MM. The options exercised at 73.70... the stock is still worth 87. He could sell those for more instant profit. It’s good to be king.
Remember 2016? The week they announced ESP, Watson got $80MM. You can’t make this stuff up.

after notification, round 4, approx around end of September severed employees get another 6 weeks payroll , and placement services if they want it, so last pay check around middle of November.
The biggest layoff will be in October, after R4 selection
