Did anyone notice that it is Blue and Yellow? It can't be Green and White because we can't use curse words.

Interpretation: Take this opportunity to polish your resumes. More RIF's are coming. Honeywell is going up in flames.

You mark my words... There will be another 25+% RIF announcement two weeks following the last week furlough. Nothing like putting the screuws to you employees, only to let them go a few weeks later!

Alt is full of incompetent greedy pigs.

5 weeks furlough and counting.
Annualized a ten percent pay cut for the peons vs 7.5 percent for the executives.
These people are so stupid it makes my eyes hurt.
Why not just cut salaries across the board and switch to four day work weeks?

Dear Colleague:

Because it is necessary to execute further cost reductions that are commensurate with deteriorating economic conditions, we have made the difficult decision to implement three weeks of furlough beginning July 27, which will be implemented as follows:

· Employees will be required to take three unpaid weeks off, on a schedule determined by their business or function’s leadership, during which time they will not be allowed to work. You will be informed Wednesday what schedule you are on.

· E-Bands have a 10% pay reduction through the end of the year (the equivalent of 7.5% on an annualized basis) while working on a regular schedule to ensure the continuity of our operations. In addition, E-bands can anticipate significant reductions in their variable pay, which will greatly impact their total compensation.

· Each of our businesses, the Integrated Supply Chain, and Aero support functions, will implement plans that will vary slightly but with similar impact in terms of time off and cost reduction.

· Additional furlough process and procedure details will be communicated in the coming days.

As stated before, there can be no guarantee that additional actions will not be required in the future. Decisions on further actions will depend on whether our markets improve.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, and please go f— yourselves, collectively.

@gsp Come on, grow up a bit. Good for you to be so excited, but I'd say the vast majority of the people here need that income... especially 3 weeks of it. We don't work for the fun of it.
