Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Hurry up with next wave

Why the hold up? Announce the departments being offshore this quarter so those of us wanting to continue in this dump can sleep better.

So sounds like the Pandemic has ceased the outsource of jobs....for now...ironic. That being said, in 6 months or in 1 year when things settle expect a massive tidal change at Xerox. Will be bloody.

I would imagine any future transitions are delayed now. With the fact HCL cant send any of their experts to learn and document the process and take back to train new staff. Even if they do it virtually both Guatemala and India are still on lockdown so would be difficult for HCL to hire new employees and get them through orientation and set up when they cant bring them to their office.

We still have one (two?) supply call taker and a handful of dispatch people. Are they going to outsource the service dispatch people, too?

Xerox is certainly on a delay schedule, all XBS call centers and supplies should have been outsourced by now. My core still has a department and they are just stringing them along believing their safe. It's like a wounded dog, just put it out of its misery.

They certainly don’t care about your feelings or humans in general, so that’s not the hold up..

If past performance is any guide, it's because they aren't ready yet or are having issues or delays with 3rd party outsourcing vendors.
