We are all all upset about the potential layoffs and the way this has ben handled, but people need to quit throwing the race card here as it distracts from actual issue going on.
There is no evidence that Thomas Wilson is a racist, and I have been on every single town hall call since all this started.
Let's stick to how we can get through this together, and focus on facts.
Why does everyone continue to label this as a Layoff? You are being fired, people. You are being eliminated. Your services are no longer needed or desired. There is little chance that you will be called back to work.

This is exactly the point. Rather than looking at how to best navigate this current situation, people are taking things out of context, which makes our point about the REAL issue ( how this merger situation has been handled awful ) seem less serious as well.
