I am looking at various roles within the Verizon business group sales team and was told there has been a lift on hiring freezes however, internal candidates have priority of over these roles.
On a separate thread it looks like they are looking at external hires however, they require higher level approvals.
Does anyone have any insight into how difficult it is to get approval for external hires?
Why would you be coming to a layoff board looking for a job? You either are not too bright or a mole fishing for responses.
There are so many internals trying to business. They’ll have a hard time justifying these layoffs. There are probably 25 qualified candidates internally applying for these positions. And another 100+ not qualified. You’d have to be applying for a rural market that no one wants to work based on location. Even if you would be considered. Stay far far away.
This is not the company that you are looking for....
