I’m out...
Not sure what’s going on with this discussion board, but I’m not really getting anything of value from it lately. Yes- It is anonymous, so I shouldn’t have any expectations. I expect too much of people, I suppose. But it was at one time a fun exchange of ideas and information amongst Fiserv employees with only an occasional bad player. A bit of a hidden underground gem. Lately, my take is that it has devolved in to more bad players with only an occasional valid post. Trolls posing as employees. I think some employees harassing other employees. Or ex-employees. Or non-employees. People getting their kicks out of that: I don’t get it. I really don’t even want to get it. Whatever floats your boat, I guess. But I’m steering my boat in to healthier waters. And I hope some of you will do that for yourselves too. Take a walk, hug the kid, cook a good meal, read an excellent book. Let the trolls all just troll on the trolls.
Whatever is going to happen at the firm will happen. Potentially being on top of it beforehand, via whatever info is shared here, isn’t going to change anything in our favor. I have faith that I will handle whatever is coming my way. Hopefully upper management gets their act together, and Fiserv can become a company we can grow with and that will be worthy of 40 hours of our life each week.
My posts have always been pro-employee. I care about my fellow team mates, those I know and those I don’t. Fiserv has some really great people in it’s ranks. We have been through a lot, working for this enterprise. And many of us have deserved better than we’ve gotten. There are still are some authentic people posting here and I’ve seen some excellent informative posts and replies and opinions. To those people, to everyone, I wish you the best. Comment, don’t comment. It won’t matter because I’m on to better ways (for me) to spend my time, and won’t be looking back. Sending you all good vibes 😎.
