Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

ATTN MGT AND HR READING THIS...u r k--ling us

Mgt and HR, your constant layoffs are k–ling your people. I work so much that I am not moving or taking care of myself. The work load is unmanageable. There is always a deadline, a priority, or email that needs to be taken care of. My assigned workload is 60+ percent greater then when I was hired into the position. What has my thank you been about a 2 per cent raise.

I’m out...
Not sure what’s going on with this discussion board, but I’m not really getting anything of value from it lately. Yes- It is anonymous, so I shouldn’t have any expectations. I expect too much of people, I suppose. But it was at one time a fun exchange of ideas and information amongst Fiserv employees with only an occasional bad player. A bit of a hidden underground gem. Lately, my take is that it has devolved in to more bad players with only an occasional valid post. Trolls posing as employees. I think some employees harassing other employees. Or ex-employees. Or non-employees. People getting their kicks out of that: I don’t get it. I really don’t even want to get it. Whatever floats your boat, I guess. But I’m steering my boat in to healthier waters. And I hope some of you will do that for yourselves too. Take a walk, hug the kid, cook a good meal, read an excellent book. Let the trolls all just troll on the trolls.

Whatever is going to happen at the firm will happen. Potentially being on top of it beforehand, via whatever info is shared here, isn’t going to change anything in our favor. I have faith that I will handle whatever is coming my way. Hopefully upper management gets their act together, and Fiserv can become a company we can grow with and that will be worthy of 40 hours of our life each week.

My posts have always been pro-employee. I care about my fellow team mates, those I know and those I don’t. Fiserv has some really great people in it’s ranks. We have been through a lot, working for this enterprise. And many of us have deserved better than we’ve gotten. There are still are some authentic people posting here and I’ve seen some excellent informative posts and replies and opinions. To those people, to everyone, I wish you the best. Comment, don’t comment. It won’t matter because I’m on to better ways (for me) to spend my time, and won’t be looking back. Sending you all good vibes 😎.

First of all, it is not FISERV anymore people, it's FData now.(They just use the Fiserv name to get over) And this is how FD operates. If I where you, start seeking other employment, because FDate will not change for you. The only way to make change is to get a New CEO for the company.

I hate Sapiance. My boss gets reports about all the time I spend playing Solitaire.

A 2 percent raise? What was your last performance review rating? "Exceeds Everything"?

Things that would actually help employees: A manageable workload, HR's comments here would imply that they are unaware that because of the layoffs teams are stretched thin, you lose someone with knowledge, they take it with them and there just aren't enough people left to cope, so one person ends up doing ten people's jobs. It is unreasonable and unacceptable to put this on people especially during a pandemic. Decent raises more than inflation would be a good start, rewards outside of silly gimmicks like actual cash? We work to earn MONEY.

Hey Fiserv HR, stop being so despicable and try imparting positive change on the company for once! It's not too late, you may be able to gain back about 1% of respect and save the company from further embarrassment.

  1. Stop encouraging "leadership" to be lazy by relying on friggin' goal-setting programs via Workday as a replacement for actually interacting with their employees.
  2. Stop stripping away retirement benefits and replacing them with friggin' childish gimmicks in a cheaply transparent attempt to buy back employee support. Believe it or not, we DO NOT care about your gimmicky orange Fiserv lunch totes and water bottles. We care about being able to retire.
  3. Stop hemorrhaging money on software built to spy on employees. Use this money for something more positive, such as rewarding hardworking individuals. It's difficult to trust the so-called "leadership" when friggin' spyware is used as a replacement for actually getting to know the workforce.
  4. Bring back the friggin' 401k match instead of taking our own money away from us and then repurposing it as a "relief fund".
  5. Stop blowing huge wads of money on friggin' agile, friggin' "open floor plan" building remodels, and friggin' TVs placed in every stairwell that play looped footage of the CEO talking. Instead, take this money and use it to reward your employees.

@wug+163tckXz HR representative, with sapience installed, if you don't work 50+ hours a week, you will be put in the layoff lottery :-).

It’s job loss roulette. Eventually everyone’s number is called.

HR - oh how formal of you, a proper response to talk to management and, perhaps, leave for other employment? HOW does that square with your previous advice. This is a wonderful place now if we read the FData shill posts. So how can other employment possibly be an alternative choice? After all FB must be given a chance, right? Stock price? Workers fired. Hey, that guarantees your job right? After all people are now given the work of 10 fired people. Why complain? You have a job now for life, right? Or until fired.

Have you attempted talking to your direct manager? That is who would address your specific situation. If after addressing with your manager you feel the situation has not been resolved, then you should proceed to speaking to your next in line management. Alternatively if you feel you are not capable of managing the workload as assigned you may want to consider seeking other employment. Thank you for your contribution to our forum, Your friendly HR representative.
