Alive with govt. bail out, less relevant, old
dinosaur ways, even more incompetent management (no subject matter expertise!), regretting spending $ on campus, arrogant, white male and female 'diversity', low stock price, continue revolving door with new hires, regretting xto purchase, celebrating old successes, just to name a few. Advise: Bring fresh blood from other industries!! Current management are all carbon copies with no original and innovative thinking as they've never experience life outside of XOM.

Stock price over $95. A better run company. Kinder and gentler, and still #1.

Cancelled. A bad word. Possibly illegal.

Mere relic. Starved and frail. Over spent.

Shattered. Too broken from greed to fix.

Dust. RIP. Junk.

EM needs a complete restructuring. From the top Woods to the Field.EM is loosing billions due to poorly ran operations.Field operations making bad decisions that have cost EM millions. One out of ten employees know down hole.Including the managers.Em needs a real Drilling Manager not a Safety id–t wanting to be a Drilling Manager.

Oil price will never go back to near $60. Too much capacity, advanced technologies And too much supply. Demand is getting lesser

If you get hired right after graduation, all you learn is what XOM wants to teach you but when you look outside, you soon feel like you have no expertise in any. SAD.

i reported directly to a midstream vp. describing leadership as incompetent doesn't even begin to describe how poorly run em is. feel bad for my ex-colleagues checking the stock price everyday and the 20 years of dismal performance of their stock benefits.

the problem, aside from the sht show of rotations (changing internal job every > 3 years), is the aging employees that couldn't care less about innovation and the importance and reliance on education as the absolute test of business prowess. i am not joking, two of the biggest dipshts i've ever known professionally were phd's at exxon. they were scientist who were forced to take rotations in business functions as managers of 60-100 people. everything they put their hands on turned to sh–. this happens over-and-over again in a viscous cycle. nice cafeteria, though

I see the stock dropping more over the next several years. When you let the worker bees go and keep incompetent management. It doesn't have a good outlook.

Still fracking for plastic.
Buying in developments with state oil companies, like a mega service company.
Splitting subsidiaries to let them assume liability for divestments.
No exploration.
The last dinosaur, investing mostly in PR and lobbying, just like coal.

An investment company in Oil and Gas but no longer a Major.

Only investing in opportunities after discovery. No more exploration. No more Operating.

These strategies already being widely adopted.

Smaller, far from #1 in the F500, but still very much alive. Hopefully better managed.
