Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Aerospace Recovery Late 2021, if lucky

Delta Airlines CEO revealed the airlines recovery will start one year after other industries. Specifically, he said the earliest recovery point would be Q3/4 of 2021. Honeywell Aero won’t start a recovery till Q3/4 2022. This is why Honeywell will dwindle staffing numbers based on government contracts; huge drops in staffing. The worst thing about the Aero industry, like others, is our government overreacting to the CV-19 phenomenon and k–ling the industry. What an amazing debacle. I’m not a Honeywell Corp crony blaming layoffs on the virus. Just stating the facts.

Its these lockdowns which countries are doing that is k–ling not only stamping the spread of the virus but as well their own economy.
Its balance to maintain human lifes and economic life which never bodes well for any government. Trump may be screwing it up big time but so has every other country. No government thought that it will lasts this long neither this impactful without a miracle cure.
My thought is, accept the change in times and go with the flow. Every company is cutting and k–ling off jobs. Its inevitable

The main problem is our government under-reacted and downplayed the pandemic every single chance they had. Instead of controlling it like so many other countries did early on they played politics while doing jack about it. So enjoy the results. This is what happens when incompetent id–ts are in charge.

Yep! There won't even be a HON Aerospace at the end of 2021. They're working hard to sell off what's left and pivot into becoming the software industrial failure we all know it will be.

Honeywell will be largely out of aerospaces by then.
Defense spending will crash in q3 2021 with a likely government shutdown arguing over paying for covid stimulus. The gap between 2021 and 2022 is the valley. No refuge as current defense projects will be stopped cold turkey.

Switch industries in early 2021 to avoid the valley.
