Any word on which express offices will be affected?

A large number of WSR's have been developed over the last several months for claims functions but developers. The typically means movement of work to India. Express functions are a large number of these WSR forms. The WSR's are developed but are not yet being rolled out.
Currently Express serves as:
- Auto/Property FNOL
- Auto/Property Inquiry
- MCO call overflow
- CAT overflow
- 3rd Shift call
- Non-Complex Auto Claim handling
- 3 specialized adjuster units (Rental, Express Adjusters, Coverage, could be a 4th?)
- a starting ground for many who go elsewhere in company
- Random stuff I'm missing
Hypothetically, let's say you cut the 2,000 Express employees. That's like 2 million extra inquiry calls a year (per GS), millions of non MCO claims and lots of rollover support that's gotta go somewhere. Maybe you could shift a lot to India. However; a lot would still need to be directed to MCOs or 3rd party vendors. It doesn't sound like they want to hire more MCO Adjusters in Auto anytime soon. So are you just increasing receipts and inquiries 40%?
I agree. I work as a LDU adjuster and whenever I see a call coming from express I just sigh and have to put on my happy face to not face palm while on the phone with them.
Express will be a very easy area to chop with many employees having less than a year tenure in which no severance or unemployment benefits need to be paid by the company. If this is done Express will move to India at 50-75% pay reduction and no benefits.
They do have a very high turnover so not many long term employees I am guessing
The answer, clearly, is no, no news yet.
Most of the express jobs can easily be shipped off to India where they will be paid pennies on the dollar for the same work. I don't support that mind you but that is how the company sees it. Allstate is a sort of Nike Insurance.
This is the same company where the executives and officers use the term "grunts" for front line department workers.
They are useless anyway. Wouldn’t be much of a loss.
