Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Jeff

You all can deregate Jeff but you're giving him too much credit. If you think he planned this move to First Data, you think he's smarter than he is. Jeff was pushed out. Not going into a lot of details but we'll say the plan was in place a long time ago and KKR, Frank were key players.

Jeff took on 38 billion in debt. Yeh let’s write a book about how not to do business in the new millennium. Thanks

Yep I think you’re right. One big score before he hangs them up

Jeff's has a broad, deep network, and the McKinsey world will take good care of him. He is smart and ruthless, ideally suited for an "agent of change" role where his focus is fixing a lagging bottom line. What he can't do is build long-term, trusting relationships, if his history at Fiserv is any indication; take a look at the constant churn in the executive roster over his tenure, and listen to some of the stories of his ex-leaders. Horrifying.

I think that he will but could be wrong, interesting to watch either way

Jeff won’t be CEO elsewhere. I predict several board positions or possibly an equity partner in a PE/VC where he puts some of that cash of his to work.

He doesn’t have to work that hard and wants to enjoy some Malibu living.

I would bet that we see Jeff in a new position as CEO soon.
