In past layoffs, the CAO was considered “safe”. Due to the divesting of categories in this layoff, I am wondering whether there will be layoffs in the CAO, as the need for category related support will no longer be necessary.

@3pvb+168C6FLP exactly, J.B is being saved by both J.S and S.M as his Sr. Directors. He also has stupid ones like the twats H.G and A.C. Jesus Christ! What about that kiss a– useless Director of Office Of K.C...lol...WTF!
Do not worry about CAO. It is part of CF&C where there is no change. Also, J.B is the VP and he is a master at b—s—ting his way through all of this. You are safe until J.B is found wanting - next year.
@rky
CAO = Chief Admin Office. The broader org which captures all of the Legal, Govt Affairs, Nike Security, and Social & Community Impact (charitable) teams at Nike.
@qwr, there is no need for guessing or your "hunch." This layoff IS bigger and more company-wide than anything we have experienced before.
Nobody on this forum knows the answer to your question. And if any person reading this was in a position to know I doubt that person would be spilling the beans here. You’ll probably have to wait a month or two to get the answer to your question.
That said I have a hunch that this lay-off is going to be different and is going to impact more people company-wide than previous lay-offs.
What is CAO?
Good chance that there will be layoffs here. I think the VP actions where an indication of what is to come. S an E have many more employees so the number impacted will be greater. Sad, but the truth so we should be ready.
