The amount of blatant corporate pandering and general virtue signaling by Honeywell employees on LinkedIn is beyond nauseating. Seems the surviving employees are doing whatever they can to publicly demonstrate how blindly loyal and socially wonderful they are. Just look at the usual cast of characters liking this and liking that. Oh how wonderful we are. On how wonderful Honeywell is. Either they have no shame or are desperate enough to sell out.

The toads that publicly shill on behalf of their company are generally the least competent and least valuable members of the organization. They are beloved by today's breed of management and human resources and are often utilized as snitches.
Speaking of Richard Branson, he owns an island. Got that, D?
The corporate pandering is the lowest form of scum bag bulls–t there is. Sure, you might have a family to feed but it's so vile and evil that you are stepping over your fellow co-worker to pander to a company that does not value you.
What's the best part of it is the very people that do that are the ones that are looking for better deals elsewhere. I've seen it over and over, these scumbags are the first to leave and have no loyalty. It's a game that they think they're playing better than everyone else when they're just selling their soul to the devil.
"Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients." -Richard Branson
"Aero leadership comes first. If we take care of ourselves, we are good. We will deal with customers somehow. Employees, we will deal with them, too." - Directors and up.
Did you know in the severance package you aren't to "disparage" the great HON including on Social media. But you can to your wife or atty. So kind of them
What dipsh1t version of reality do you live in? We who do the work are too busy for such nonsense on any platform. If you don't like what you see on LinkedIn, don't spend time there. Obviously, you have too much time on your hands. Go get a life and leave us workers alone.
Interesting, you reference cool-aid and likes?? You are nothing more Than n individual who stands in front of homedepot looking for work! Realize you are nothing more. The sad fact is that you can get laid of the same day you REPORT for work. Regardless of who you are and work for.
“The Future is What You Make It”...
Hey Kool Aid......gimme some of that. Most likes come from India, APAC, and maybe 2 or 3 from Europe. Few in US or Canada. Wonder Why?
The original poster had it right. Ignore the other comments. They are simply there to scare you.Yes, as the stock price, LinkedIn is simply there to drive approval rating hirer. There are so many ways to bypass IP recognition and protocol. Do your homework then post the true comments.
The sad fact is that Honeywell regardless of SBU or business unit does not look after employees. 4 hour notice of HR lay-off/no-work/furlough . Nothing has been misrepresented or misleading.
Simply FACTS.
LinkedIn is social media and it's not uncommon to see stories in the news about employees who were fired because of their online posts.
While social media can help you boost your career, connect with recruiters, and power a job search, it can also cause harm to your reputation if you use it as a platform for negative comments about your current or past employers. A potential new employer could look a any negative comments as red flag.
When I was put on a PIP a few years ago, I changed my employer on LinkedIn to an "Aerospace Company". I was so paranoid about losing my job that I was afraid of a person in my network posting something disparaging about Hon and that would get me pushed out the door when I needed a couple of more years before I could retire.
I found it funny that I challenged Honeywells claim to create jobs when they started making making while at the same time laying off thousands of employees. My profile must have been viewed 50 times immediately after to see who had the gumption to make such a statement. I had a lot of credibility due to my former position so I guess a few people were shocked.
*should
Maybe we really don't need to worry about what they're doing, and ahould instead focus on things that will help to move us forward.
Managers, directors, and top tech folks like chief engineers and fellows are heavily pressured to post. It is on their goals for the year.
Many corporate cults are now the lair of the bootlicker, the brown-noser and the back-stabber. These are the traits required for survival. Those with dignity and self-respect will find it appalling.
Some people live in the real world where they have bills to pay, kids to feed, tuition to pay, etc. They can't afford to lose their jobs, especially if it is for cause (no severance). Saying hell no to your management is one sure way to be fired for cause!
No one should have to sacrifice their personal integrity to maintain employment. It is ironic that at a time when the company is actively promoting diversity of skin color or s-xual orientation, there is no tolerance for the diversity of opinions. There is a lot of discrimination against rational thought.
There is more activity on Linkedin which is normal. However I don't see any more pandering than before.
May be they need top grow a pair and say hell no to management , instead of pandering.
Grow up! Maybe they desperately want to keep their jobs in a terrible job market.
