Seems to be a reoccurring theme regardless of the thread topic. Just curious. What did they do to you?

Prob cause the completions management at this company are absolute buffoons. Especially the one in charge of frac who visits location for 30 mins one time a year.
Then why did we have to say we were adding rigs to hide the fact that we couldn’t get costs under control....goals=not met!
Wow meeting metrics. Is it difficult to meet a metric with the goalpost in the mirror all along?
Completions consistently met or exceeded their goals, raised the bar, and did it again! This was in spite of having the race car driver and his cronies constantly changing every imaginable variable there was to change and then making some up. Haters gonna find something to hate...perhaps they should try looking in the mirror?
I have been in the oil field for many years, but I don't have the working knowledge on downhole completions. Vertical hole completions are pretty straight forward, it is the horizontal completion that are costly, high tech and that can yield much more oil if done correctly, or bite you in the A if done incorrectly. But, I have never worked around the completions Engineers or on the rigs when the completion work was being done. So why is there such a high level of distrust with completions? Is this something that can be contracted out to save money
