With each passing day now, I grow more angry and upset at what Randall Stephenson has done to this once great company, and worse, the golden parachute that he bailed with, during the worst of times for the company and country. His laundry list of failures is long. Now he is gone. We are left to live with his failed legacies all left behind like strewn trash. That is if you are kicked to the curb with a surplus.

The top few in every major US corporation will continue to make insane amounts of money for the foreseeable future - like elite athletes and entertainers. Get over it.
AT&T needs to make cuts at all levels for various reasons - mostly due to too much fat, higher cost per employee for pro rata share of revenue compared to competitors, and too many idle, low value resources. If it were your company, would you pay all these folks?
Freddie Freeman makes $21+M per year. That usher maybe makes $10 per hour... and does not get many hours.
I expect more downvotes than upvotes, as folks choose not to think logically and about the financials, some bitterness on leadership moves that have not worked well (I can relate to this one to a degree), and way too many entitled folks.
Exactly ! But in our case the 30 Million a year is just the bonus on top of the ridiculous amount of yearly salary these incompetent stooge,s take home . These bozos took away our yearly team award and replaced it with ?? Who knows , sometimes its nothing , sometimes 500.00 $ , it used to be 1k to 5k depending on how much OT we worked . All gone now ! And Randall took it away when the company was prospering. Before he ruined our company ! And he took it away just to show the union guys that he can do anything ! And he has !!! And now the whole world can see what he has done to SBC / Pac Bell !!
