They didn’t learn anything from Harvey when they embarrassed themselves

Poor babies don’t wanna go to work, it’s no wonder the south got hit harder by layoffs.
Only at the end of the day? He11 they didn't care about you when you walked through the damn door, unless you were late. The only time they ever cared was when they saw an opportunity to write you up for something. No one cares about this place anymore. The management there can't be trusted and jobs are being abolished. I didn't trust the CEO when he first came to the UP 20 years ago. I never would've imagined that this was how it would be 24 years later.
@1rwr That’s the way it should work, but in the UP universe the current COO stepping in to replace a departing CEO seems more likely.
At the end of the day, UP doesn’t care one iota about their employees, and few (if any) people in upper management will be losing any sleep over whatever happens to anyone who gets caught in either of these storms while on the job.
Maybe UP will put OMTs who are three months out of school in charge of storm response again, as they did during Harvey. If you’re an OMT and you’re thinking about quitting, now would probably be a good time.
Well they didn't learn it from because they failed to recognize the mistake called PSR. They believe they can do it better than the last guy. They'll never believe it's a mistake because of the money they made. Whoever takes over when this CEO is gone, is certainly going to earn his paycheck
But they didn’t learn
No, because the best way to learn is to make the mistakes. When the CEO is resigns or gets fired(the latter preferred!), the person that succeeds him will be the one who learns from the mistakes made by someone else.
