Do you guys CIM members mark water, Poland 16.9 water, and or 1st quality (mass quantities toilet paper and paper towels.) My building sells through all of that in a day, yet precious time is wasted with mondane processes issued by people who have never lifted a finger in receiving. Thanks for your feed back. (in advance...sorry for posting this on a layoff site, bit this is the best place to find out real info!!

Not tagging water will not be good when u get a phase in item in that looks the same. If someone buys a pallet of water u will have to drop every pallet to scan it till u get the right one. Would not be fun during open hours.
I work backroom and what the hell is CIM. We run freight straight to the floor and slot it.

My dock is the smallest in the company.....we have to run all water to floor/steel every day.....and the next day either its dropped from steel....or we will run the next water truck right to the floor to avoid the nonsensical task of making labels and hoping the wifi works to scan it into steel right above where it's stocked.....so much fun doing double work!!

Original poster...If you sell thru it all in a day, then why is it even racked in the steel??? And if it is not racked, then what is point if putting a CIM label on it, only to be thrown away when shrink wrap is cut of that same day as u stock/sell it??
Thanks 6307!...Apparently a big shot regional was in our northeast region.....saw pallets in the steel without cim labels....flipped out and is making every store label every pallet....oh well i see overtime in our future
Our store doesn't because we sell through it all really fast. Our receivers don't tag water, paper, or pop because of this reason. Store 6307. I'm sorry your store has you wasting time on that.
