Nothing wrong with the current audio. What a stupid waste of money.
When people "connect to audio via PC" instead of having it call you back via phone or dialing in by phone, the PC mic picks up way too much background audio. People can hear me typing as I take meeting notes, hear the traffic on the major road behind my house (yes, my home needs better sound proofing on the back side), etc. Since WFH started, my family all knows to tap on my home office door before flushing the hallway bathroom toilet because the mic picks up the flushing noise through my closed door, across the hallway, and the closed bathroom door. :-(
The current Webex “use PC for audio” is complete sh*te. But a change of codec won’t fix it.
Nothing wrong with the current audio. What a stupid waste of money. Babble must have had another competitive buyer than Cisco wanted to eliminate.....Cisco does this all the time with acquisitions.
All the talented WebEx engineers left years ago. We need to acquire companies to implement new product features.
Cisco internally focuses on stock buybacks & dividends, while everything else is accomplished through acquisitions.
Really? When they are doing ERs and likely layoffs???? Sigh.
I'm thinking this acquisition cost 1 billion
