5 into 195 is roughly 39 dollars a share buy price and today the price is 29 dollars a share.
wow - they must of just gotten sick of their money rotting away and doing better things with it now lol.

can't blame them att is a nothing burger and the fat cats will just continue feeding off the dividend till the company is dead. just like a kid at the end of a chocolate conveyor belt with his mouth open the fat cats are just shoving the dividend any place they can.

Can this be true? If it was, it would be big news. and I don't see any other articles on that subject.

Does that mean Bill Morrow will be gone soon? It was Elliot who brought him in. I suspect Stankey would love to see him gone.

CHA-CHING" sounds like Elliot inflated the price of the stock while T took the bait, and sold position.

They owned shares of common stock and "economic equivalents" ie derivatives and options.

They sold all of their shares as there have been reports of CEO’s across all companies dumping shares as well recently as there seems to be speculation of a Bull market.....or could be the Dems taking office. Sorry if offended anyone with hear say from CSNBC. I take this as a warning to adjust my portfolio.

Looks like Elliot sold their shares in ALL the companies they own, not just T.

The original announcements stated Elliot had purchased $3.2 billion In stock in end of 3rd Q 2019. This announce the implies a sell price around 38.25. That should have at least been around the same price they bought in at ( or possibly higher)., but it only gives $195 million. Where are the rest of the shares? (3.2 billion vs 195 million)

Wasn't this, early on, speculated as their strategy, given who they are, and they're track record? I'm not too surprised, other than it took a kind soul to unbury it and expose it here, now, and not sooner.

They know a looser, got their short term gain, and don't want to ride it down to zero and go down with the sinking ship Ratty and Stinky sunk.

It’s true. Someone got played for a short-term gain. Removed Randall and picked up board seats then divested the entire position. Wow.
