Pushed over and over again to complete employee surveys over and over again from "leadership" only for leadership to then receive the results and obviously attempt to work to figure out who said what to contribute to whatever category score they are looking at. Totally missing the point of their own supposed anonymous surveys and maybe potentially working on some self reflection and fixing the root causes for any of their own "opportunities." "They are completely anonymous and there is zero retaliation tolerated." Yeah, ok, whatever

Great responses on here talking about the mandatory survey. We all agree the survey that is suppose to be done voluntarily is a witch hunt. The results came out and 3 hours later the director had skip level meetings set up to figure out who is tarnishing his brand. Don’t worry, Hans, Krista, and Christy will praise how many people took the survey on their own free will and how wonderful the results are.

When I leave comments in the survey I try to use words and give clues to make it look like another coworker wrote them. This gets my point across and avoids retaliatory behavior....to myself. This last survey was easy. Basically in one of my comments I said “ Being a female I find it safer for the touch-less retail atmosphere especially not having to have guy customers get so close to me. I do NOT find it safe that leadership intentionally does not follow protocol with 1-1 customer to rep ratio.” ———- We have two female reps in our store so this was a perfect way to stay anon and not have management thinking it was me.
I lead a team and can promise you they are anonymous. The surveys are managed by a third party and all that is recorded is the IP address in case someone says something threatening.
I am a people leader, and I have not been able to see the names attached to the surveys before. So, technically it is anonymous. I’ve never been directed to individually address the surveys. I’ve been directed to address themes among several surveys.
HOWEVER, I can see their grammar, spelling, word choice and can usually figure it out.
They're not anonymous. It's only to build a defense against all the H1-B lawsuits they're getting.
