It doesnt look good in Kroger,hardly anything on the shelves and what is there is marked down to fire sale price.
They are adding PT employees, no added cost! The only FT employees being hired are to backfill a vacancy. Again, they are committed to fulfill DSD, until DSD is no more....and that’s coming!
If the job is being done now with less employees why would they add to the cost of doing business? We would literally be the only corporation on planet earth with that model.
The cost of DSD vs warehouse makes DSD outdated! Eliminating sku’s Is one of the very many red flags and they are on the hook to retailers to take DSD to the end...reason why they want to be “overstaffed”! Who cares, they can have 100 employees who work PT! No obligation!
It wouldn't be worthwhile to hire just to fire them if they could just be replaced by jive warehouse delivery.
