Please define POC! I find it offensive I'm being labeled and put into a box because my family is "Latino".
While I appreciate the steps the company is taking toward diversity, it does little to make up for Tom Wilson laughing about how hard the assessment questions were in the same meeting. People are losing their jobs, no laughing matter if you ask me.
I care deeply. So yes, there are a lot of people who care.
I hope that was something that people are actually NOT concerned with right now! Of all things, you’re focused on diversity?
Your fragility is showing. Diversity and inclusion is just as much about white people as it is POC working within an institution. Diversity and inclusion work is also incredibly important for those of you us are in public-facing roles in addition to being important for our interactions with our vendors.
