I waste too much time in meetings every day, none of which have value. Any suggestions how to change the culture of worthless meetings? There is no way I need to check in with ignorant managers daily, really I don't even need them at all to perform at a high level.

Some things never change. Mid-managers and upward add no value. They just spend all their time in meetings that don’t include their employees - the worker bees.
Incompetent management overload people with meeting as they have no capacity to make right decisions.
Sorry you can't change the culture there. Work around. Work around EVERYTHING.
worthless meetings and bloviation are literally the currencies of career advancement at intel
Wow, I talk to my manager less than 10 min a week - I’m trying to figure out if this is glorious or grievous. All my other meetings have a clear purpose. Can you work through the meetings?
A lot of meetings at Intel are awful, a waste of time and a great way to get sniped by a coworker. You should s— it up while looking to leave on your terms.
During this pandemic getting yourself risk is not option. There are many tech jobs out there. Intel used to be number 1 but not anymore. I would go elsewhere that treated us fairly. You see all those Green and blue badges more like slavery camp to drive us to work to death and low pay
We has limited meetings to 15-30 minutes, and must have agenda, that and cancel everything else, that really help.
Just quit. Go somewhere else where the grass is greener. Take action instead of whining. Go on big shot - just do it.
It is WFH era, expecting more meetings. How often did you meet your manager before COVID-19 forced WFH?
Good luck with that. Your attendance at meetings is necessary to keep the scores of managers employed, after all, without meetings, what would they do all day?
