I currently am part of the AM shift for CPU. My store is just now having us apply for it.
Those of you who make over $15, did you get a raise? I’m at 15.65. I don’t see why we can’t get a raise for experience
I think that’s c-ap 9 years and people can walk in making almost what I do.

Just an update, I did indeed get a raise . $1.56.
How you can apply for the new position? Where in the wire I can find it?
Wonder if we go up more soon since they created the specialist job that people seriously stand there and do nothing at? I feel like we should have gotten the 16 and hour and they should have got 15. They do nothing stand at self check and the door psssh so much stuff going out. We have 2 standing at self check I walk by and I have to help members. Ridiculous
Big companies, especially retail ones, just don’t do that. The nature of the role changes, which it did, fulfillment replaced “member assist, club pickup” and you had to reinterview for it. You already make more than the minimum and the company is letting you keep that. They don’t have to do that.
I've got 10 years experience in tires I was bumped to $15... they later hired a 18 yo kid n it was his first job.. they hired him on at $17 no experience. When time came for yearly increase I got nothing cause I got boosted to 15.. he got it cause he was hired at 17.... seems fair right ?
hahahahaha 9 year guy moaning and groaning that new hires can make almost as much as he. Try being here 28 years and newly minted team leads make only a couple dollars less than me. I do not say much though because if I were a short time person suddenly making 15 plus I would be thrilled.
Something to remember though is this in five years if you make 15 dollars only be making 16.56...five years from now is 16.56 going to be enough to live on?? Not likely.
I am glad for those getting the raises because I know they have been struggling to make it making just 11 dollars an hour.
Do I want more money ? heck yeah but I hold my tongue because I do not need a target on my back
Our fullfillment team makes $16 an hour
Actually I make 16 a hour and I was told I would lose 1.00 a hour if I were to accept the fulfillment position so I stayed where I was I’m not losing a dollar a hour to do a job that I’ve been doing for several years just because now they make a dept out of it, I will stay with merchandising and keep my 16 a hour
