Intel is changing it's logo again! I remember the first time they did it to a lot of fanfare, had to change all the signs on the buildings and websites.

What a waste of money!
Like the new logo is gonna make our chips better than AMD's
The new logo will make people forget why we haven't achieved 7nm
Fresh lipstick on the stinking pig
It sounds flat to me. Like makes you wince when a band plays a flat note kind of wince. It's stupid, it's bad, it's expensive and it's not needed. How about redesign some chips that'll bring $$ to your bottom line?
I would have gone with the sinking ship design.
Revamping a company logo is what you do when:

Intel is as stuck today, as it's been over the last 2 decades. A new logo will do nothing to change that mentality.
It's like when Gavin Belson on the show Silicon Valley wanted to roll out a signature line of enterprise boxes with his name. They crowdsourced the graphic design of his "signature." His head was so far up his a– that he didn't notice that the winning signature (submitted by a disgrunted employee) looked like a pe–s
Sort of like how Intel new "b-ng" chime sounds like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz farting after inhaling one too many burritos.
I remember my first Intel manager telling me 20 years ago that the stock was the most valuable part of my compensation was the stock. What a load of c-ap, 20 years later still lower than when I started. If only I had been smart enough to leave sooner than I did.
While phd at AMazon and other tech are making million of dollars of bonus and intel stock still stuck on a rock. If I was PHD at Intel i would move to bigger tech cause their stock go skyrocket. It really look bad that INtel is really underpaid right now. Intel is going to work the slave out of you for the next 10 years and stock price dont even go up a bit
Admission of failure, pretending to reset. Slowdive.
Buildings have not updated
new logo>getting 7nm right
just like...
SJW corp initiatives>engineering
Intel is a failed state. Get out while you can.
This my friends, is why we pay some marketing dweeb a couple of million a year!
Nuts!
Actually a negative ROI. Someone has to pay a consulting company to update the logo and then have to roll out the logo to replace obsolete logos on virtual and real estate assets. Money well spent Bob.
Did Karen meet w/Eric Kim before deciding to change the logo again? No wonder Cisco marketing was a mess. No wonder CMOs are a dying breed. Updating logos has zero ROI.
