Milana didn’t deserve the bs she’s dealing with. A lot of current AT&T employees don’t deserve the bs they’re dealing with either. The only place I’ve seen AT&T’s support is in PR week so this is clearly a PR move and blatant virtue signaling.

I don’t want to be accused of “whataboutism” but I really do think the question applies here. What about how actual AT&T employees are treated? The demanding store manager pressuring people to commit fraud, the backstabbing office politics, the executive who referred to a group as “$50k/year people” (salary) in a closed-door meeting, screaming on conference calls about metrics... just some recent examples I’ve heard about.

Instead of prioritizing how to pay for the billions in dividends every year, make an actual strategy change to be a good place to work that takes care of employees, customers, and the community. No bs.

Ugh. That actually sounds like it could be a T-Mobile slogan.
