I have been interviewing with other top ten mortgage lenders. What I found out shocked me. They are ALL offshoring jobs to a larger extent than Chase. My department at Chase is currently training workers in Manila to complete a large percentage of our work. They are lying to the workforce about the extent of the offshoring. Find a way to make yourself valuable to the company.

I agree. On top of offshoring, they are automating a lot of functions here in the states, I know some people that have vanished since their work don’t need much people anymore

Don't worry, one third of working age American males are essentially going to drop out of the workforce by 2050

JP offshoring and outsourcing of jobs thrives while the RIFs continued, as they have an unlimited supply of labor in India, South America or through H1-B gimmicks.

Be assured that with Baby Boomers retiring in the coming decades, and we can forget the increase in GDP that normally comes from growth in the workforce, and the repercutions will last forever.

Plus, it is really hard to increase productivity now a days, as much of the financial sector including JP Morgan is in the business of eliminating workers making them obsolete.
We see right now the result of how wages disparities with out Indians counterparts has had a detrimental impact on the millions of blue collar jobs, that have vanished.
