Hanging on for now due to growth and subscription boosting overall numbers but when will it be spun out?

Industry leader? Does Collab have its own way of deciding who is industry leader? The leader is sitting at $100B for their video conferencing app. Forget about being even #2. There is no number #2. During times like these, self awareness is a good thing.
Cisco will ride webex as it nose dives into the ground. Its making SOME money, even though its losing market share by leaps and bounds every day. Microsoft teams is starting to eat our lunch in the enterprise space. And its packaged up nicely with O365.
Webex is clunky, definitely not s-xy and hip. As a user tool (not for people who drool over infrastructure) it s—s for 98% of the population. I’m currently using about 4-5 tools and Webex is equal last.
WEBEX is unimpressive?!?! its the INDUSTRY LEADER! are you kidding me? Zoom will supplant it? HOW? i guess people who want their meetings hacked? This thread really proves you negative nancies really have no idea what in the he11 your talking about.
I thought WebEx was used to sell more expensive Network Hardware? Merely a bundle add-on. As opposed to Zoom which has enormous revenue growth
Webex is an unimpressive technology that has not innovated in years.
only network firewalls are more irrelevant
Zoom is sh–
webex will be discontinued, zoom is the king of online video conferencing.
The revenue is so tiny compared to switching. Worth more sold off
Webex is a longterm loser to Zoom and other technologies
Webex will be supplanted by competition eventually. Selling now while a hot technology would increase stock price. That’s always the goal.
If Collaboration is up for sale in its entirety, sure. Otherwise, can't see them doing this.
WHY would they spin off webex?!?! All you awesome arm chair MBAs on here... why would it make sense to get rid of a product that is selling/growing? and that conforms to the subscription model that they want?!?! in what world does that make sense?
First comment is wrong. Spin out unlocks much more shareholder value.
wishful thinking but will never happen
cisco needs collab to offset switching losses.
