We’re getting screwed. We bring in the memberships in the club all year long. What’s really Going on with Sam’s Club Home office. Who’s making all these Changes. Without memberships there is no Sam’s Club. Been at Sam’s for 13 years, an it’s time for me to go. All Marketing leads just Quit!!!! We’re always getting lefted out!!!! Last I heard, Costco doesn't have marketing in the field any longer. Only big events they take part in...otherwise they work the desk. By now you should know that Sam's follows in Costco's footprints. Areas are saturated and many businesses closed due to this virus China let loose.
My club open a position I applied now I just do both jobs in my club with the raised as a MSL.
Marketing was eliminated when we switched to workgroups. Any existing leads or coordinators could stay in their position but with no pay raises. Membership Representative manager takes over the role that used to be marketing.
If you want a raise then best bet is to apply for fresh, fulfillment, frontline, specialist or a team lead position.
I don’t know about other clubs but two Sam’s Club in my area the marketing work weekends

Join the club, everyone on front end who was not making $15.00 . Got a raise to $15.00 except maintenance. Cart attendants are making more than maintenance.
Good luck it’s the right decision. Get out of Sam’s Club!!! There’s no Future there, anthey treat there associates like trash. Soon or Later Costco will be the Number 1# Bulk sale store. I know been there an proudly can say I’ve moved on to Costco. More professional organization I ever worked at. You won’t regret it.... Sam’s Club is Messy, unprofessional an associates been there for over 20 years still making no money there. Just a waste of Years..... Everyone Get Out While you have time.
You'll be doing them a favor. Those positions are not being filled once the associates leave. There are other options in the club but they refuse to apply because they want to keep their weekends off and Mon thru Fri 8 to 4 schedules.

Why cry do you think you are the only one that deserves a raise EVERYONE is the club deserves a raise everyone works their butts off so don’t cry because you didn’t get one, I’m sure when you got yours others didn’t, if you are not happy QUIT!
Not all clubs have the member team lead.

I guess all the clubs are different in my club we don’t have membership lead or coordinator, They get rid of that position instead, they have membership representative, and she acts as a club manager!
