Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Where is the Board of Directors during this cluster fork?

Anyone who’s half awake is very well aware that we’ve had seriously incompetent management since at least 2007. Where is the board of directors? Forget about the layoffs, of you will, but the stock price is going in reverse, we’re losing customers and market share like crazy, and we have debt out the wazoo. I’m starting to think the board is even more incompetent than so-called “Leadership”.

This is why The Elliot Group stepped in to cash in and try to straighten out and change the course

WTF is Ratty and Stinky doing on the Board? They are approving all their own ideas! The others just follow what they say. Get them outta there!

All are Investors. Not a single Operator. None of them know how to operate a telecom/media company. Let alone understand where the numbers are coming from, or how to verify them. Don't bet on this board to save the day.

“Leadership” is another word for dumba$$, at least at ATT. I haven’t seen real leadership at any level at ATT since beginning of about 2010. Everyone wants to be a boss and stroke their ego by attempting to boss people around like sultans but nobody wants to even try to be a leader or innovator. They don’t know how or don't care to. The people with real talent in leadership left long ago for companies that actually cultivate and grow leadership skills.

This is the same BOD that gave Donovan a rich severance package plus a year worth of retainer money $2+M to be a "consultant" after his COBC incident caused his departure. Easterbrook.

This is the same BOD that did not terminate RS after the T-Mobile fiasco and then thanked him for his service after he quit on AT&T during a pandemic.

Keep faith with Elliott Management. Steve L. will soon be joined by other like minded Directors. It will take time to undo 13 years of failed C-Suite and BOD leadership.

They're just a bunch of m0rons even dumber than JS and RS who'll believe anything they're told by the two.

All they're worried about is that dividend - as long as the cash is coming in to pay that, they'll eat up whatever c-ap they're served.

Don't think this is some high-powered council of geniuses.
