Funny thing. AT&T never claimed that it's 5G was any faster or better than LTE. They specifically stated speeds would be near same as LTE for most users.
"Fastest" is literally the only claim that we can make. Clearly no one reads the articles.

Which cities are slow for 5G and who is the network provider (Nokia or Ericsson)?
Just because your phone says it is "5G", it doesn't mean 5G speed in reality, and you can thank the market geniuses at AT&T for that. All the speed claims, awards, have zero creditability. Most people can tell whether they have 5G speed or not. Only Stank thinks that are low IQ customers in this era, horrible misguided mindset.
Just put some of Lilly's "googly eyes" on it, give it a funny name, and call it a day.
