So many miss steps in this house of cards! The jokers of incompetence lead to all of these layoffs! BD is a bad choice to lead! She has absolutely no experience but who cares about doing it right! Amazing screw up.

MC is off to a BAD start! Reorganizing so that ~95% of our CAPEX now reports to the person who:
• “Acted” as COO while overspending 2018 by ~$800MM. TD lost his job, why didn’t he?
• Instilled a culture of fear and retribution by firing multiple people in the drilling group for telling him an inconvenient truth. RDL, DW, and others lost their jobs, why didn’t he?
• Also presided over a culture of cronyism and bullying that led to a multi-year decline in the workplace satisfaction survey that is now so bad, the company barely acknowledges them. By the way, this decline started prior to announcing layoffs last year. GB lost his job, why didn’t he?
• Co-sponsored project Fusion, a waste of ~$200MM and 2+ years. Most of it is either not used, unfinished (multiple projects are still going on to deliver where it failed), or no better than what was in place before. SS (almost and should’ve) lost her job, why didn’t he?
• Has tarnished the reputation of a MC that was once respected and revered by repeatedly violating the Code of Conduct and/or “RESPECT” values (bullying, anti-Semite, extra-marital affair with subordinate, etc.). Most would’ve lost their job, why doesn’t he!

You have to figure that SS will be retired in early 2021 following this RIF. The build back over the next 2-3 years will be left to another CEO. With his retirement he will not have to worry about living in Midland and working out of MCO. The man has put in his time and it has got to be horrible for him to do what he is doing now with the Reorg and RIF. For him it will be Midland/LCO in rear view mirror and hello NM and trophy wife, Pioneer who??
