We received our letters. So now what?
Like everything else that comes from SeaWorld the communication was very vage and unclear about the next steps. Do we need to sign it and send it back? It have been a lot of back and forth about it... if a signature is required or the letter was just a formality... Please no judgement as not all of us can have afford to refuse the severance.

They couldn't afford to a return envelope really how cheap csn they be. Just goes to show you better get legal representation cause some where in this package is the loophole for SR to d–k us out of money.
You have to sign your severance package. If you agree to the terms on the 5 pages you read then sign the paper. If SeaWorld owes you any money. Don’t sign and you need a lawyer. Also if you never signed any paper accepting the new company policies you can probably get up to 26 weeks for every year your full time 1 weeks pay.
I had the same questions. The address is in the packet, it’s just not as easy to find it. The mailing address is under section 12. The only way to get the severance is to sign and return. By not returning, we’d be forfeiting the $$. I’m signing and MOVING ON. #peaceout
HR responded to me and said "Please send the entire severance packet signed to the below address or via email

Did anyone got a reply from hr?
Whoever said signing it u will not get paid, that's incorrect, you have to agree to the terms and sign this in order to get paid,
Disregard the last comment, until we get clarification, the last line in paragraph 12 states we sign it. Still waiting on clarification from HR.
I sent an email to HR@seaworld.com for clarification. But as I am looking at it, we only sign if we don't agree with it, and if we sign it we don't get paid.. Look at paragraph 12.
A three thousand dollar severance (after taxes) for twenty or thirty years of employment is a slap in the face. The weeks that we had saved for paid vacation has also been taken from us.
I signed it, put it in my own envelope and mailed it to the address that was within the document. I took pictures of each page before I sent it back.
If anyone is lucky enough to get HR to answer the question and have some insight please enlighten us...
