I was laid off in 2019 while it took me over a year to find a job it was worth the wait I was constantly contacted for open roles at Cisco but never pursued sometimes when the door closes a window opens it may get stuck for a while but it does open. I regularly read posts here I can honestly say I had a positive experience but only due to my boss and team whether you stay at cisco or move on always work for someone you think can teach you and who you can respect. Times are tough in both tech and every industry be fortunate you have a job, many don’t good luck my former cisconians
