I don't come here often but admittedly have been visiting more frequently as of late. A few of my colleagues keep telling me about certain posts so I feel obliged to come have a read. While reading through some of the posts on here it's become apparent to me that people of questionable character could be targeting certain employees via making it appear that their prey is talking badly about the company. Here's an example, they might be emulating the targeted employee's distinctive writing style, phraseologies, and other "signature" communicative idiosyncrasies to make it seem as if they're coming here to bad mouth the company. After making such posts, they could alert someone with authority or plant a seed by saying something along the lines of this, "Look what I just noticed, doesn't this look like so and so's writing style do you think this could be them?" or they could continue making posts until others come to the conclusion on their own which would create a further degree of separation between the bad actor and their target.

OP , I think you’re trying to scare people and prevent them from commenting negatively about Allstate. I’ve noticed some things as well. This isn’t the first comment that has tried to scare people. I’ve come across a few suggesting that this site isn’t anonymous. Whether you’re HR or whatever, why don’t you just f0{k off.

OP said nothing about censorship. Reading comprehension is important. The point seems pretty clear bad actors within the company can potentially use this site to raise suspicion of certain individuals they’re targeting. Your interpretation is very odd. Maybe you’re one of the bad actors?
What in the what did I just read .. your reaching here buddy.... we all are fearful our jobs are going away and we are FEARFUL and scared!!! There is a worldwide pandemic going on right now and this is just an absolute horrible time for a billion dollar company to layoff thousands... we have every right to post what we think or hear! I Agree with other poster I sure as hell hope you aren't making executive decisions within Allstate!

What’s your point? This is not a news site, but anonymous forum board, anyone can write anything they like. Everyone who comes here knows all things written here should be taken with a grain of salt. And we also know which posts are more likely to be true and how to spot trolls and company shills and ignore those posts until site mods nuke them.
Hate to bust your balloon, but anyone can post here. I am a perfect example, never worked for Allstate. You have made the assumption it's just Allstate current or past employees and that is a perfect example of a mind that is short sighted and hopefully is not making decisions for Allstate.
40,000 people work for Allstate and there is maybe 30-50 posts a day total, chance of that seems very low, they would just find some other reason to can you, like layoffs for example
