Advice Pre Package

Got the package last time. They let us keep our company phones, and said they would give us a couple days to get our contacts, photos, etc off of it. False. My phone was shut off and blanked remotely, leaving me unable to call my wife etc within an hour of walking out the door. Lost lots of stuff I couldnt get back, very annoying. Backup everything in advance just in case. Thankfully I was in good company at the bar at noon with a herd of fellow fresh xpxd heroes. Was a great was to spend a tuesday morning :).
I suppose thats the real advice here...gather your group of new friends with sudden free time and have a nice noontime beer. Really helps put a positive spin on the situation in your mind.

That must really s— to be so unimportant to PXD that they had to get their used late generation phone back from you. I didn’t get a package but know many that did..... all kept the phone..... wasn’t that special of a thing ;)

I was packaged in the March 2019 RIF, they did not allow you to keep your mobile phone. Go to help desk and they will remove personal data and keep the phone. They release the number to ATT. You need to get a new phone call ATT and capture your old Pioneer number. I had a Apple 7 and bot an Apple 7. Was pretty easy, just do early because there were many people. I offered 600.00 for the phone and they said no, turn it in. The phone is a minor irritant, you have much more ahead that you will need to work your way through, HSA, IRA, Options, evaluating your living expense. If you are looking at a mortgage refi as rates are down to 2.25 do it now before you are without a job. Money in the bank doesn't cut it they want monthly income. Most homes 1% is around 350.00 a month less. Call all you mobile, wifi and they will negotiate a lower price

You don't know your wife's number? Definitely Pioneer's fault and responsibility, how dare they!
