Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

reflection (the top get all the cream) and it is not your worker bees fault

some messages here talk about how senior people is lazy and don't want to learn and don't want to teach young folks, I gave you below and you start think about it.

I watch this site outside and always reflect Own experience, I looked at my past boss's LinkedIn.. I noticed few things:

a) He comes in and ruin the entire group and 2 years later, he rotate into another group and ruined that team. He brought in his old buddy from old company and manage the group,
b) our old director was cut 1st before he come and then senior manager 3 months later, then another three 3 months, all senior grade > 10 are all gone.
c) He become new VP and his buddy become director
d) he was gone after 3 years, and now I found him to be another VP at another dinasor company.
e) the package they got vs us , longer time for all cobra and etc.. almost 6 months of salary, longer time to find a job internal.
f) the damage he has done: destroyed our entire service team and moved all to India and one of the Infosys/HCL/outcourced vendor.
g) the hard truth is that this team trained India team and still gone..
h) not sure how we were even supposed to learn AWS when we are hand teaching someone else at the same time while trying to keep up the environment.

this is not Joe/Janes fault, the company.don;t have vision beside hire someone in cut all the people and move on..

the person has zero technical skills in anything, now I started thinking, his only task is cut and fire people. and shut down the group and move to low cost.. outsourcer.

Howcome does he keep getting rewarded?

Another boss is now a lecture at a local university in central California, VP and was SVP, still tauting how AOL is great and paying $9.95 a month makes a lot of sense, consider he is from links's, I fully understand.
