How can those not affected by PIP this round also report to MOM and minister? We have to stop this before the next round of retrenchments disguise under the hood of 'performance review'. No integrity!

I wish we could do this in the U.S.

I highly doubt this will bring anything to fruitation. EM brings in some of the best legal counseling in the world, how would they let something like this slip?

@xah+16RjQwOf this isn't 1st grade, claiming your superiority to them shows your backwardness. No I don't work at Singapore but let them fight what they feel is wrong. If they have the energy and if the system has cause then it should play out. If there is reason to hide a layoff which is against Singapore law then multinational companies need to be held accountable. I would feel the same way if our direct competition did the same thing and would hope they get sued into oblivion.

Believe that there are still many others hesitating to report to MOM. Please understand that you’re doing this primarily for yourself; to regain your dignity. You need to stand confident in front of your future employer to tell them that you’re worthy of your future role as a result of your past hard work and accomplishments. You do not have to suffer the lingering thought of whether your next employer will suspect if you’ve been NSI by this unethical employer.
We need to stand united against this big bully who had gone to such length to jeopardize our future employability.
Please do your part and continue to encourage others to do so. Report now and keep up the pressure.
