@kel+16SOLvfZ they are on average not an asset but an expensive liability. Just look at stock performance, do you the majority of the VP leadership results have led to improvement of XOM?If you are a VP and you are young you may want to bounce now before you get targeted in the real layoff. If you are an old timer with pride you need to do everything opposite of what DW wants because he's weak and sinking the legacy of this company.
Maybe I'm amazed - it will love me all the time.
25 years of labor - and nearly 2.5 million in my IRA.

"Strict talent management system "
What boggles my mind is how you can't math.

Smart people jump. Just find a new job
Demand 20% above your current salary.
Unless your 3 years or less away from retirement
With full pension benefits. If not you are staying because it’s easy
They needed the money to hire their new PR guy lol. Reputation is dwindling.
Why fight for people to stay when there is no work? We built out employment to emplement/operate projects. That is now not going to happen anytime soon. Why are these people needed?
And I'm talking about regular employees and severance, not VPs and those above. Those people are worthless.
