GE is still around after all its screw ups, so Honeywell will be around for a long time as well. The stock price will be in the toilet, however.

At its current state, Aero will be bleeding into corporate coffers from all those severence and consolidations these past few months and many more months to go. Darius will get very nervous and expects that Mikey starts taking drastic measures to avoid straining mothership. Some of these drastic measures will be 2 years down the road with strategic and integration taking the lead. As long as Mikey is able to sell to Darius of the future outcome of his sbg and convince him, Mikey will still be the numero uno and slap us silly for the next 2 years. Operations and engineering will be the ones thats going to suffer the most during this period knowing that Mike often looks at them with suspicion and uncertainity why it is still the largest counts among the whole aero.

The chances of Honeyweel looking very different over the next couple years is high. Corp Leadership is trying to raise cash so sell offs, M and A likely. As we all know they do not like the cash s—ing employees. I don't think HOn will collapse any time soon. They have enough cash for a while (evem though they want more). That said I do think growth will be non-existant for a couple years due to business cyclye. The stock will go lower,as will the whole market and Hon will follow the market. HON stock overvalued now.

My honest and best guess is 6 to 9 months. It all depends on how fast mad dog can sell all the product lines off and RIF the whole division.
