Can we start a job immediately after being notified?
Do we have to wait until our 45 day redeployment is done?

If your close to your boss let them know. Most the good ones will be flexible with you go you can accept the new employment and then start during your redeployment period.
I would be surprised if they didn’t work with you.
If you have an external offer accept it. And tell them you need to give your current employer 3 weeks.
Click the EOI box on Thursday and a stop doing work. Leave you computer on and check emails once a day. They would do it to you so why don’t you do it to them.
Do you have an external offer in hand? If I were you, I would try to get one and then if offered try to delay your start date until after October 19.
That way you’ll know if you should stay or go.
We were told in our meetings that, yes, you need to wait. But you’ll need to decide that for yourself. I’m not sure how they would ever know. But why don’t you submit your question to the email they have set up for questions. I’ve submitted a couple and they are very responsive.
