Why do we need a website for something we aren't offering?
I chose to retire and got 3 months pay and Right Management support. I wonder what Chevron is offering as a package money-wise.

Sorry to say but CVX is winning and XOM is losing.
Shocked to see XOM say that CVX is doing something right. I work at XOM and my spouse works at CVX. I have seen, on many occasions, XOM staff put down my spouse and CVX just because it’s not XOM.
It gets the job done as allowed by local governments. Plus the saved money can always be invested back into the company!
Agree, no severance website needed. The gutless managers and supervisors will hold on to their cushy jobs and sacrifice 10% of the worker bees with “PIP” every few months.

Why do we need a severance website if we aren't giving it to very many people? PIP seems to be doing the trick to hit headcount targets over the next few years here.
Chevron has come a long way, kudos to them, hopefully they buy out XOM and shed our management and executives
When it comes to integrity and ethics, Chevron is head and shoulders above XOM. Never thought there would be a day I would cheer for Chevron. But here we are.
Reality is Chevron seems to have hit the sweet spot on frugality, right assets, ESG, etc. compared to us and the Europeans. Amazing that 20 years ago we were basically twice CVX’s size / market cap.
Great planning, transparency, and support to their employees. How things should be done during a very difficult time.
Very ethical of our competitor to do that. God bless them . They deserve to win us.
